I received info from one of her great grandchildren that stated he is the father of:
Minnie Anderson 1875-1925
Florence Anderson 1878-1898
A.H. Anderson 1881-1918
Estill Harlon Anderson 1885-1967
Alford Leland Anderson 1887-1938

They also said his birth name was NUNN, but that he had it legally changed to Anderson at age 18 for unknown reasons.

Sept. 3, 2011 - from a SAC

"I am a direct descendant of his mother, Holly Edenfield, and her first husband, James R. Nunn. James R. Nunn died before March 1845, but Holly continued to have children by various neighbors. It is said John H. Nunn changed his name to Anderson because he accidentally killed his brother, Jeremiah. But there is also the story that he learned his father was Hardy Anderson and that caused him to change his name. I've been in touch with some of his descendants in recent years who have shared information with me."
