FORT WORTH – James L. McKenzie, a retired assembler, died Friday at Bedford hospital. He was 70. Funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Burial will be at 3 p.m. tomorrow in Mount Olive Cemetery in Hugo, Okla. Mr. McKenzie was born in Fort Towson, Okla. He had lived in Fort Worth 40 years. He served in the Army during World War II. He was an assembler at Bell Helicopter for 18 years until his retirement in 1982. Mr. McKenzie was a member of the Tanglefoot and Metro Dance Club. Survivors: Two sons, Ronald McKenzie of Euless and Gerald McKenzie of Grand Prairie; daughter, Sarita Ann Buchanan of Baton Rouge, La; brother, Roy Dale MeKenzie of Denver; and six grandchildren.
