Meryle Constance 'Connie' (New) Alligood of Doylestown, formerly of Levittown, died Monday, March 1, 2011, at Doylestown Hospital. She was 75.
Born in Philadelphia, She was the daughter of the late John and Anna Mae Hamilton New.
Connie retired from Lower Bucks Hospital, where she was employed as a dietary aide.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Debbie Campion and her husband, Bill, Gale Pfeiffer, Richard Alligood, Gene Alligood and his wife, Beth, and Mark Alligood and his wife, Karen. She also is survived by 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to Connie's life celebration beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 4, at Grace Point Church, 592 Washington Crossing Road, Newtown, followed by her funeral service at 8 p.m. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, in Newtown Cemetery, 600 Washington Ave., Newtown.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Connie's name to the charity of the donor's choice, would be appreciated by the family.
