ON the 8th of last month, at the house of his youngest daughter, Mrs. Owen Rowlands, near Waukesha. Wis, R. W. JONES (Cymro Cloff) died in his 80th year of his age. R. W. Jones was born in Glyn Tavell, near Pontestyll. Breconshire. He emigrated to this country about 40 years ago, and he settled near Waukesha: he bought a farm from John Hughes, it was called Kilmaenan. after Mr. Hughes' home town in the Old Country. The old name stuck to the factory. R. W. Jones was a responsible and successful farmer very well: and as a neighbor he was helpful and trustworthy. The bardic element was very strong in him. While he was not a cultured and refined writer, writing was completely natural to him. He published two or three books in the Old A country containing the fruit of his inspiration . . .
