Services for Dorothy G. Rice, 95,
of Logansport will be held at 10
a.m. Tuesday in Kroeger Funeral Home.
She died at 6:50 p.m. Friday, Sept 9,
2005, in Chase Center.
Born Aug. 9, 1910, in Rossville, she was
the daughter of Malcome and Ethel Sellers
Olds. On Feb. 16,1935, she was married to
Lewis Rice, and he died Sept 24,1974.
A homemaker, Mrs. Rice loved to cook
and garden. She was a wonderful seamstress
and loved being with her family.
She was a member of the Carroll County
Extension Homemaker Club.
One daughter, Jane Leazenby, and one
sister, Lucille Homburg, preceded in death.
Pastor Sandy Hutchens will officiate at
the services. Burial will be in Rock Creek
Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 to 10 am. Tuesday
in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made
to the American Cancer Society and
American Heart Association.
