"MATTIE BONHAM
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Edgar L. Rice, Morris, officiating for Mattie Bonham, 74, who died Thursday at her home, 1300 N. Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be Doyle Keifer, John Lewis, Doy Shipman, James Allen, Curtis Morgan and Jewel Dunham.
Interment will be in the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home.
She was born January 18, 1892 at Waldon, Ark. and came to McAlester in 1921 and to Okmulgee in 1924. Her husband, Raymond Bonham died in 1953.
She is survived by four sons, Leonard White, El Centro, Calif, Lester White, 105 N. Kern, George Bonham, 1226 N. Griffin, and Raymond Bonham, of the home; five daughters, Mrs. Buler Bonham, Salinas, Calif., Mrs. Hazel Bonham, of the home; Mrs. Bessie Delong, Ada, Mrs. Mildred McCuller, Maysville, and Mrs. Velma Schmidt, Okmulgee; three brothers, Henry Ashing, Pecos, Tex., Jase Ashing, Haskell, and George Ashing, Morris; one sister, Mrs. Maude Jamrerson, Houston, Tex., 29 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren."
