COLUMBIA, La., Aug. 29 (Special) — Funeral services for Oscar Randolph Ferree, age 76, were held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Columbia Heights Baptist Church.

He died suddenly yesterday afternoon.

Officiating at the funeral will be the Rev. Paul Jones. Interment followed in the Old Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Buena May Ferree, Columbia; three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Maciz [sic Thalia Macia], Miami, Fla., Mrs. Iona Faylor, Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Mary Miller of Chattanooga, Tenn.; one son, Oscar R. Ferree, Jr., St. Louis, Missouri; one brother, A. T. Ferree, Skiatook, Okla.; one sister, Mrs. Blanchard Allred, Asheboro, N.C.; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers were W. M. Shell, M. M. Thornhill, W. M. May, E. E. Ray, A. G. Harris, Oliver Wilson, C. C. Minard, E. R. Haddix, G. E. Erskin, and Walter Jackson.
