Mary Alice Neal Guthrie, 60, of Charleston, MO, died June 17, 2007 at her home.
She was born October 9, 1946 in Dogwood to the late John Henry and Manda Mae Bohannon Neal. She lived in Mississippi County most of her life and was a member of the First General Baptist Church. She served as a Cub Scout leader for four years to Den 14 of Pack 33, now Troop 323.
On July 15, 1966, she married Nathern Guthrie who survives of the home.
Also surviving are: two sons and daughters-in-law, Nathan and Maya Guthrie and John and Becky Guthrie; three daughters, Alice Neal, Manda Chessor and Lisa Radica; one brother, Bill Neal; four sisters, Roxie Abernathy, Dolly Hall, Emma Jo Shrum and Mildred Moore; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter Neal, Tom Neal and Bob Price and by one sister, Marcella Billington.
Visitation was at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, where funeral services were conducted with Rev. Bill Meeks, pastor of the First General Baptist Church of Charleston, officiating.
Interment followed in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were: Robbie Stagner, Clay Guthrie, Bill Tatum, Tim Massey, Bobby Jones and Bruce Groves.
Honorary pallbearers were Blake Guthrie and James Hurt.
