GUINN, Esther Born March 9, 1916 to Charles and Lillie Rohrer in Dayton, Ohio, passed away March 7, 2011.

Preceded in death by her father and mother, husband Jack Guinn, brother Ben Rohrer, 2 sisters Lucinda Munger and Irene Golden. Survived by 2 daughters Joyce (Dick) Shimp, Jill (Don) Millard - New Lebanon; 5 grandchildren: Jim (Sandy) Shimp - Flower Mound, Texas, Jeff (Pam) Shimp - New Lebanon, John (Jenny) Shimp - Miamisburg, Mindy (Mike) Swigart - Brookville, Shelly (Chris) Elder - Vandalia. Eleven great grandchildren - Jodie, Kristen, Scott, Brooke, and Austin Shimp; Maddison and Mason Swigart, Raegan and Rylin Elder, Chris (Sarah) Johnson, Patrick Johnson, and one great-great grandaughter- Carley Johnson. Also survived by sister-in-law Anna Rohrer, many nieces, nephews, friends and special friend, Melea Mead. She was an active member of the New Lebanon United Methodist Church for over fifty-five years.

A Celebration of Esther's life at the New Lebanon United Methodist Church, 2040 W. Main St. New Lebanon, OH 45345, with Pastor Gary L. Eubank officiating. Interment will follow at Lower Miami Cemetery on Germantown Pike. The family will receive friends until the start of the service.
