Deceased Name: Mrs. Laura Louise Kale Theiling 59, of 6603 Albemarle Rd. died Sept. 8, 1989, at Wesley Nursing Center. Funeral is 2 p.m. today at Kilgo United Methodist Church, where she was a member. Burial will be in Sharon Memorial Park. Visitation is at the home of Dan and Kay Dumas, 7500 Candis Dr. Harry & Bryant Funeral Home is in charge.
Mrs. Theiling, a Catawba County native, retired as administrative secretary for the City of Charlotte fire chief after 30 years. She was a graduate of Sherrills Ford High School and attended Carolina Business College. At her church she was a member of the Biggers Sunday school class and was honorary member of Charlotte Retired Firemen's Association.
Survivors are her husband, Henry; sons, John Theiling IV, Mark Theiling; mother, Mrs. Goldie Kale; brothers, Albert Kale of Lincolnton, R.C. Kale of Catawba, Ronnie Kale of Newton; sisters, Mrs. Virginia Ervin, Mrs. Zelda Glovier, Mrs. Julia Weig, all of Catawba, Mrs. Brenda Adams of Forest City, Mrs. Doris Travis, Mrs. Kay Dumas, Mrs. Sybil Smith.
