Harry Nunez Warden was the oldest child and son of George R and Belle Shreve Nunez Warden. At age 16 he had his father signed for him to join the US Navy where he was assigned to the USS Aroostook and the Mine Laying Division in the North Sea. After the war he returned and was engaged to be married to Emilie von Auw but contacted the influenza and also came down with diabetes. With these complications his younger brother Shreve implies Harry became depressed and stuffed himself with chocolates and went into a coma and died. His bride to be never married and chose an art career moving to New Mexico.
