Dorothy was the daughter of Almie & Esta (Osman) Knox. She attended school at Cherry Fork and graduated at the top of her class. Dorothy married Earl Clark Glasgow on 4 Feb 1941. Shortly after being married, they moved to a farm just north of Seaman where they lived most of their married life. She was a housewife and loved animals especially dogs and cats. She also raised chickens and sold eggs. Dorothy accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior early in life & never wavered from His ways. Her door was always open to help those in need. She conducted Bible studies in her home and was a faithful member of the Seaman United Methodist church. Dorothy was also one of the founding members of Women's Aglow Chapter in Seaman. Dorothy was a mighty woman of God and touched many lives with her faith and love. She & Earl had one daughter who was the love of their life. Dorothy cared for her mother, Esta until her passing. Upon retirement Dorothy and Earl moved off the farm to a home in Seaman where they lived happily until Earl went home to be with the Lord. Dorothy never really got over Earl's death. They were married for 63 years and she always said they never had an argument. Dorothy was ill but for a short time, passing away quietly in her sleep with her family at her side.
