Alice Victoria (Durst) Beitzel, 77

Alice Victoria Durst was born June 23, 1921, at Bittinger, Garrett Co, MD. She was the daughter of Ethel Anne Platter Durst and Harry Durst. Alice completed 7th grade at the local school. On June 17, 1937, she was married to Warren Elmer Beitzel at Keyser's Ridge, Garrett Co, Md. Alice was a member of the Church of God. She enjoyed cleaning house and visiting with friends. she was preceded in death by her husband Warren Beitzel and 4 children: Darrell "Jake" Beitzel, Catherine May Shank, Kermit Beitzel, David Beitzel an infant. She was the mother of 8 children and she dearly loved each one. She was a tower of strength to all who knew her. She is survived by 4 children Paul Hayward "John" Beitzel, Delores Brown, Garry Arthur "Samps" Beitzel, Ronald Ray Beitzel. She died on Dec 18, 1998, and was buried next to her husband in Bittinger Cemetery.
