Virginia L. Keeney July 20, 1922 - September 30, 2010 Virginia (Ginny) Keeney was born in Omaha NE. Ginny moved to San Francisco in 1941 where she lived until her career brought her to Bakersfield in the late 70's. Ginny retired from Chevron in 1985 and was a longtime member of the Bakersfield ABWA. Ginny was preceded in death by her husband, William Keeney; brothers, John O. and Fred P. Lynch; and sister, Mary Helen Stein. She is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Richard H and Lois Lynch of Omaha, NE; sister- in-law, Marianne Lynch of Santa Barbara, CA; nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, Nov. 13, 11:00 a.m., at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 7100 Stockdale Hwy., Bakersfield. A Celebration of Ginny's life will be held following the Mass.
