MISS LIGON AND MR ADAMS MARRY
Miss Frances Ruth Ligon of Mount Holly and Mr. Ferris Pascal Adams of Rock Hill were married in Chester on Friday, November 24, 1939. The marriage was performed by Rev. J. H. Yarborough of Chester.
Mrs. Adams is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. N. Ligon. For several years she has been a resident of the Mt. Holly community, and attended the Mt. Holly and Rock Hill High Schools.
Mr. Adams is the youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hoyt Adams. He received his education in the schools of the city and is now employed at the Rock Hill Printing and Finishing Co.
The couple will make thier home with the bride's parents at Mount Holly.

Farris P. Adams, 64, died Wednesday. Born in Lancaster County, he was a son of the late Hoyt and Ada McManus Adams. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion and the Trinity Bible Church. Mr. Adams was a retired employee of Daniel Construction Co.
Surviving are a son, Robert Adams of Warner Robins, Ga.; a daughter, Mrs. Ann Franchini of Smyrna, Ga.; a brother Otto Adams of Rock Hill; a sister, Mrs. Nora Cauthen of Rock Hill; and grandchildren.
Service will be held at 11 a.m. today at Bass Funeral Home, with burial in Grand View Memorial Park.
