RALPH BERRINGER, 82, of Commodore RD l, died Saturday, July 22, 1972, at the Indiana Hospital.
Born on Oct. 4, 1889, in Greene Twp., Indiana County, he was the son of Pittman and Emma Shiefer Berringer. He was married to the former Osie Learn, who survives.
Mr. Berringer was a retired self-employed farmer, and a member of the Lutheran Redeemer Church of Cookport.
Surviving are three brothers: Roy and Ivan, both of Cherry Tree RD 2; and Ford, Clymer RD 1; a sister: Mrs. Delmont (Leona) Baker, Barnesboro RD l; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Ray, Allen and Lawrence, and two sisters: Betsy Berringer and Mrs. Effie Garman.
Friends are being received from 4-10 p.m. today and Tuesday at the Rairigh Funeral Home, Hillsdale. Services will be held on Wednesday at the Lutheran Redeemer Church of Cookport at 2 p.m. with John M. Lanning officiating. Interment will be made in the Methodist Cemetery, Cookport.
