It is said that both Ephraim & Olive are buried in Clark Cemetery, China, Maine.
Introduced apple orchards on farm of late Richard Jones in S China. Lived in log cabin near memorial stone of ancestors.
Ephraim, born July 15, 1751, seems to have lived a bachelor life. He did not marry until 1795. Olive Braley, the object of his affections, was born the year he entered the log cabin, and twenty-two years afterward he brought her home his bride. They were blessed with the old-fashioned family of six sons and six daughters.
It was Ephraim and his brother-in-law, George Fish, who erected the first saw mill in town on Clark Brook which is a little south and opposite the narrows on the east shore of China Lake and is still called Clark Brook.
