V. Louise Ames, 70, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011. Graveside service: 11:15 a.m. Tuesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Louise was born May 5, 1940, in Hot Springs, Ark.

Survivors: Husband, C. Raymond Ames; daughter, Tammy Lawrence of Eugene, Ore.; son, Norman K. Ames; stepson, Michael Ames of San Jose, Calif.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers; and three sisters.
