Joseph Douglas Moss of near Perry died August 16 while fishing on his farm. He was born April 22, 1882, in Ralls county, son of William D and Ann Favella Thompson Moss. He was married March 22, 1905, to Olga Little.
Survivors are his wife; three children, Stanley of Perry, Mrs Mildred Bousman of Santa Maria, CA, Mrs Ray Rouse of Hannibal; a sister, Mrs Elizabeth Briscoe of Hannibal; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was a member of Corinth Baptist church. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Perry Baptist church with burial in Lick Creek cemetery.
