Obituary: Mrs. Myrtle Frances Mellott Clevenger, 46, of Rt. 2, Warfordsburg, died at her home Saturday. She was born in Sipes Mill, the daughter of Mrs. Rosetta Paylor Mellott and the late John Mellott. She was a member of the Amaranth Church of the Brethren and until her illness she had worked at Sagner, Inc. in McConnellsburg for the past eight years. She is survived by her mother, who lives in Sipes Mill; her husband, Dale Stewart Clevenger whom she married June 12th 1942; one daughter, Mrs. Darlene Deshong of Downington; two sons, James Dale of Downington and John William at home; one sister, Miss Geneva Mellott of Sipes Mill and three brothers, Vaugh and Blair Mellott, both of Sipes Mill and Donald Mellott of Needmore. Services will be held at the Jerusalem Christian Church on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Charles Parrin officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
