Married Hezekiah Beebe around 1813 in Onondaga County, NY. Had several children including Nathaniel A., Martin, James, A., and Jeptha Beebe.

The Courier, Waterloo, Iowa, Wednesday, February 25, 1885, page 8:

"Mrs. Sarah Beebe died at the residence of her son, N. A. Beebe, in Bennington Township, last Sunday, aged 89 years, 4 months and 12 days, after a lingering illness of nearly two years. Deceased was a native of New Jersey, from which State she moved to New York and subsequently to Indiana, where her husband died. She became a resident of Blackhawk County in 1867. When 18 years of age, she experienced religion and joined the Baptist church, and for over seventy years the Christian faith has been her guiding star. During her last illness, while her emaciated form was racked with excruciating pains, she found solace in repeating texts of scripture, and she died in the triumph of the faith. The funeral services were held yesterday morning, at N. A. Beebe's residence, Rev. R Garton officiating."
