Hastings resident Bonnie S. (Payer) Deal, 55, of 907 N. Saunders Ave. died Tuesday, Sep. 10, 1996, in Spencer. Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Brand-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Hodgson officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery at Wagner, S.D., at a later date. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. until services Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Deal was born Dec. 14, 1940, to Laddie and Wilma (Conger) Payer in Yankton, S.D. She moved to Hastings from Springfield, S.D., in 1980. She was a nurses aide at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital for the past 16 years.
She was a member of Berean Bible Church.
Survivors are two daughters, Mary Schneider of Hastings and Lea Schell of Gregory, S.D.; one son, Norman Jr. of Avon, S.D.; her father of Wagner; one brother, Ron Payer of Forest Lake, Minn.; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Memorials may be given to Berean Bible Church or the family.
