Mrs. Altie Florence Norris, 86 years old, a pioneer resident of the western suburbs and the grandmother of Lester J. Norris, husband of the heiress to the John W. (Bet a Million) Gates fortune, died yesterday in Delnor hospital, St. Charles. She had been ill for some time. Mrs. Norris was the widow of Charles E. Norris of West Chicago. She is survived by three sons and two daughters, all of whom live in western suburbs, and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the West Chicago Methodist church.
