Alexander Rites

James W. Alexander, 75, resident of the Morgantown community, died here Wednesday night after an extended illness of several weeks.
Funeral services for the deceased were conducted from the Morgantown Church of God with the Rev. Johnnie Magee of Bogalusa, La. and the Rev. G. G. Williams, Pastor of the Morgantown Church officiating, on Sunday afternoon at 2:30. Interment was in the Morgantown cemetery with the following pallbearers; Loyd Alexander, Nathan Singley, Seabren Singley, John Srweart, Irvin Stewart, Ben Stewart, and Charles Stewart.
Mr. Alexander is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Essie Singley, Mrs. Dessie Stewart, Mrs. Mixon Stewart, Mrs. Carroll Thornhill, Mrs. James Regan, Mrs. Dennis Morgan, Mrs. Carl Berry, and sons F. W. and Lewis Webster Alexander. Lewis is now stationed on Guam while the other children are of Marion County.
