Anne Teresa Alano, 96, of Dixon, died Saturday, March 12, 2011, at Lifehouse Liberty Court. She was a registered nurse at KSB Hospital before retiring.
Mrs. Alano was born April 4, 1914, in Livingston, the daughter of George and Barbara (Pavlatich) Kostadin. She married Click Alano on Jan. 6, 1945, in Berwyn. He preceded her in death on Aug. 31. 1982.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Barbara Boldin.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, Dixon, with the Rev. David Spaulding, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Dixon, officiating.
Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Dixon.
There will be no visitation.
A memorial has been established to the Lee County Senior Citizens Council.
