First of 11 children of Solomon Thompson (born Denmark) and Christina Christenson (born Denmark). Minnie was born in Cataract, Wisconsin. She married Bernard H. Jenks May 5, 1906 in Chicago. They had 3 children: Minnie Bernice Jenks, Evelyn D. Jenks and John Bernard Jenks, all in Chicago. She died at age 37 in 1924 and was buried in Mt. Greenwood Cemetery.
