Lena M. Keeton, 83, West Liberty, Ky., passed away Tuesday in the West Liberty Nursing Home after a brief illness.

She was born February 25, 1928, in Lenox, Ky., a daughter of the late William H. and Jennie Trimble Caskey.

She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savor. She was a member of the Elkfork Chapter # 561 Order Of The Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Marcella Dalton, Maxie Ellis and Lexie Kersey.

Surviving is her husband of many years, Arnold Keeton, West Liberty, Ky., one daughter, Phyllis Forbes and husband, George N. Forbes of Cross Lanes, WV., two grandchildren, Pamela Ross and husband, Rick Ross of Elizabethtown, Ky., Robert Gibson and wife, Jayme Gibson of Lewisport, Ky., one great-granddaughter, Allyson Ross of Elizabethtown, Ky.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday March 17, 2011, at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel, with Dr. George N. Forbes officiating. Burial in the Caskey Cemetery, Lenox, Ky.

Visitation will be at p.m. Wednesday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, Ky.

Elkfork Chapter # 561 Order Of Eastern Star rites will be conducted 7 p.m. Wednesday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Robert Gibson, Rick Ross, Lynn B. McClurg, Billy Joe Murphy, Jackie Howell, Gary Wright.
