Talmage Talbot Callihan, 83, of Houston, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2002. Mr. Callihan was born May 19, 1918 in Liverpool, TX to Eric and Lily Callihan. He graduated from Jeff Davis High School and received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Callihan was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries received on June 25, 1944 in Saipan as a Corporal with the U. S. Marine Corps. He was a Masters Bridge player and an avid bowler. He worked as a chemist with AMF Tuboscope where he developed paints and plastics.
Talmage was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Margaret.
He is survived by his daughter, Dorothy Greer and her husband, James A., of Katy; his sons, John Douglas Callihan and his wife, Karen, of San Antonio, and Roger Patrick Callihan of Long Beach; and his six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, March 23, 2002, in the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer.
