George William Davis was my paternal grandfather. He started life as a farmer, joined the Expeditionary Forces for World War I (driving a truck in the Army), drove a truck for Bugle Linen Supply in Baltimore, MD, and then moved into the household of Gordon Lee Davis in Hagerstown, MD. He died in the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV and was buried here in the family plot with his parents, Oscar Jefferson and Mary Amelia Davis.
