JULIAN C. TEMPLETON, 90, of Naples, Fla., formerly of South Point, Ohio, and widower of Clementine "Clemmie" Smith Templeton, passed away Sunday in Naples. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2008, at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point. Burial will follow. Julian was born May 24, 1917, in Proctorville, Ohio, a son of the late Creed and Velma Suiter Templeton. He was a retired operator for Allied Chemical and a World War II Marine veteran, having participated in the invasion of Okinawa and the occupation of Japan. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Templeton. Julian is survived by one son, Charles Templeton of Chesapeake, Ohio; two grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
