The Perry Herald, April 16, 1889. Entered into rest Monday morning, April 14th Enos K. Wright, aged 79 years. In the year 1803 Amazi Wright came from Vermont to settle in an almost trackless forest. The pioneer settled at Wright's Corners, his nearest neighbor being in Warsaw 8 miles away. In 1805 Enos K. Wright was born, the first male child in the town of Middlebury. His home was a log cabin. Mr. Wright married in 1834 Miss Louisa Newell who survives him. Only two months ago February 13th, they celebrated their Golden wedding. Another of the few remaining pioneers has fallen. May their memory live long in the hearts of their descendants.
