Margaret Mary Apland, 86, Tuscon, Ariz., and formerly of Belle Fourche, died March 17, 2009, at her home.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Pine Slope Cemetery in Belle Fourche with Deacon Ray Klein officiating.
Margaret (Margie) was born Sept. 14, 1922, in Chicago, and grew up in Belle Fourche. There she met Kenneth Apland, who she married in 1943. Kenneth's career in the mining industry took the couple to several states, where they lived with their three children. Their union lasted until his death in 1990.
She was a devoted homemaker, wife and mother. Margie enjoyed cooking, sewing, throwing dinner parties, spending time with family and especially in her later years, traveling.
