VETERINARY SURGEON DIES WHEN AUTO TURNS OVER

Fond du Lac, Wis., March 30 –Dr. Lee M. Underwood, well known veterinary surgeon at Tomah, Wis., and a son of Dr. C. E. Underwood, Oakfield, was instantly killed Friday afternoon when the automobile in which he was riding turned over at Valley Junction, Wis.

The remains of Dr. Lee M. Underwood who was killed by his automobile was sent to his home at Oakfield on Saturday. The body was escorted to the station by the members of the Masonic order and the members of the Tomah fire department. Dr. Underwood was twenty-five years of age and was to be married in the month of April. Among those who accompanied the body to Oakfield were the father of the deceased, a brother, Charles Underwood, Mr. E. C Van Wie, Dr. T. J. Sheely and Mr. R. A. Smith. The funeral will be held on Monday.

Many people from the city went out to the scene of the accident on Saturday. The car was still in the ditch and was damaged, but can be repaired with a small expenditure.
