BURLINGTON/JERICHO - Charlotte M. Alden, 95, former resident of Jericho, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Burlington Health & Rehab following several years several years of lingering illness.
Born March 2, 1916 in Bridgeport, Conn., she was the daughter of Willie and Louisa (Waring) Crowfoot.
Charlotte was a member of Jeri-Hill Senior Citizens (XYZ).
She is survived by her three children and their spouses; Wayne and Pat Alden of Gloversville, N.Y., Jean Emmerich and Robert of Bridgeport, Conn. Howard and Marjorie Alden of Jericho, seven grandchildren, ten greatgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Harry Alden, two brothers, John and William Crowfoot and two sisters, Florence Dawson and Viola McNamara.
A graveside service will be held in Pleasantview Cemetery, Jericho in the spring.
Gifford Funeral Service, 22 Depot St., Richmond in charge of arrangements.
