Aytes, Patsy Burnett –age 76 of South Knoxville, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2010. She was a member of Church Street United Methodist Church and a graduate of the University of Tennessee. She was a teacher at South-Doyle for many years.
Preceded in death by husband, Charles W. Aytes, Jr.; daughter, Tracy Green. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Alison Aytes; granddaughter, Elizabeth Green; sister, Jennie Witherspoon; nephew, Kent Witherspoon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Seven Islands Cemetery Association, 7604 Seven Islands Road, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920. Family and friends will meet at 2:00pm Saturday, March 20, 2010 for a graveside service with Rev. Tom King officiating.
