Mary Alice Fenton, 96, a resident of Daytona Beach, Florida since 1975, died Sunday, December 7, 2003 at the Regency Nursing Home, Daytona Beach, Florida. Her husband, John J. Fenton, died July 16, 1974. Born February 8, 1907 in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Speicher Holmes. She was a home maker. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Louise Scanlon, son-in-law Joseph Scanlon, three brothers, John, Rollin and Willard Holmes, two sisters, Ethel Keser and Elizabeth Kaiser, a grandson Michael and a granddaughter, Patty.
