Mrs. Blue, 81, Succumbs Here

Mrs. Nellie Blue, resident of Casper for the past 25 years, died Monday afternoon at the age of 81.

Born in Miflin, Wis., Aug. 25, 1879, Mrs. Blue as a child lived in Omaha, where she married the late Stanley Blue in 1901. The Blues moved from Omaha to Sheridan, where they lived until 1935, when they came to Casper. They operated a grocery store for many years at Railroad and Spruce. Mr. Blue died in 1951.

Mrs. Blue, a member of the Baptist Church in Sheridan, is survived by a son, John, of Casper; a granddaughter, Mrs. I. E. Shahan of Farmington, N. M., and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are to be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Bustard Funeral Home, with the Rev. Frank E. See of the First Christian Church officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in Highland Cemetery.
