-- Mr. Joseph Francis Loveland, age 93, died Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Magnolia Manor in Rock Hill.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Carolinas Conerstone Church, with the Pastor Barry Yates and Pastor Jonathan Phillips officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Road in Rock Hill.

Born in Corry, Pennsylvania, Mr. Loveland was a son of the late Clarence Loveland and Grace Love Loveland. During World War II, Mr. Loveland served in the Army Air Corps as an aerial photographer. He was retird from DuPont in Brevard, N.C. Having retired to Lake Hartwell, S.C., Mr. Loveland was a resident of Seneca, S.C. for more than 20 years. He and his wife moved to Fort Mill serveral years ago to be closer to their family. He was a man of great faith. He was a member of Carolinas Conerstone Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing an was a former member of the choir and Clown Ministry of Tega Cay Baptist Church.

Surviving are his children, Richard Loveland and Kathaleen Phillips and her husband, John E. Phillips, all of Fort Mill, S.C.; his brother, Art Loveland of Hendersonville, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Spencer Loveland in 2011.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, March 21, 2011 at Wolfe Funeral Home; and other times at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Savannah Mission Trip, c/o Carolinas Cornerstone Church, P.O. Box 938, Fort Mill, S.C. 29716.
