Anna was the daughter of Nathan Birdsall and B. Elma Worley.

Obituary excerpts (from the St. Joseph Herald-Press of Feb. 20, 1956):

Mrs. C. S. (Anna Mae) Adams, 79, of Galien, died at 6:10 p.m. Saturday [Feb. 18, 1956] in Mercy Hospital, Benton Harbor, where she had been a patient since Feb. 7.

She was born May 1, 1876, in Indiana and on Dec. 6, 1911, in Pasadena, Calif., was married to C. S. Adams, who survives. The couple moved to Galien in 1950 from Whiting, Ind.
