Allie Willis Myers,90 of Mcleansboro, died Sunday Afternoon, June 30th 2003 at the Hamilton Memorial Nursing Home.
He was born August 14, 1911 to John Andrew Myers & Oma Rebecca (Smithpeters) Myers.
He was a member and deacon at the Blooming Grove Missionary Baptist Church near McLeansboro. He was baptized there on April 15, 1928
He married Imogene Rawls on August 14th, 1935
Survivors included his wife, Imogene, 3 children; Larry(Ruth) of McLeansboro, Judy(Ron) Thomas of McLeansboro, and David(Dina) of St. Louis Mo.;One brother, Kenneth(Eula) of Mcleansboro; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation services were held from 4-8 July 2nd at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro and Funeral was at 11 am July 3rd at the Blooming Grove Missionary Baptist Church near McLeansboro. Interment was in the church cemetery.
He was preceeded in death by his parents,Andrew and Oma Myers; sisters,Ethel Myers & Inez Nation; brothers,Willard and Cecil; and one son, Col. Randall Dean Myers
