Ralph Louis Bahl, 88, of Dundas, died at 4:45 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Burgin Manor in Olney.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stringtown with Reverend Father Marc Stec officiating.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Stringtown.
Mr. Bahl was born on October 22, 1922 in Jasper County, the son of Noah and Myrtle (Kirts) Bahl.
He married Colette Rennier on May 2, 1944. She survives.
He was a farmer and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stringtown.
Mr. Bahl is survived by his wife, Colette Bahl, of Dundas, daughter, Norma Kessler and her husband, Leonard, of Wendelin; daughter, Joyce Iffert, of Olney; daughter, Donna Rennier and her husband, Melvin of Claremont; son, Fred Bahl and his wife, Deana, of Dundas; daughter, Annette Geier and her husband, Greg, of Greensburg, Ind.; son, Rick Bahl, of Olney; brother, Marion Bahl and his wife, Melvina, of West Liberty; 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Myrtle Bahl; son Jerry and his wife, Joanna; a daughter, Marcy; and two grandchildren, Brian and Diane.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Parish Center in Stringtown.
