Wendell Andrew (W.A) Less 80 of Clinton passed away on March 20, 2011 at Morning Pointe Assisted Living of Clinton after long illness. He was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Clinton He retired from Martin Marietta Y-12, where he was a mechanical engineer. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed all sports. He served on the design team during the construction of the Clinton Recreation Center. He was a veteran during the Korean conflict serving in the Air Force.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Helen Less of Canfield, Ohio.

Survivors include: Wife of 55 years, Margaret Queener Less of Clinton.

Son, Dale and daughter-in-law, Karen of Valdese, North Carolina and
Daughter, Karen and son-in-law Gene of Dallas, Texas; Grandsons, Cameron and Kendall of Dallas, Texas; Brother, Loren & wife Jerry of Canfield, Ohio Several nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Clinton First Baptist Church from 6-8p.m. Services will follow at 8p.m. at the church. His family and friends will gather at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home and the interment with military honors by the Campbell County Honor Guard will take place at 11:00a.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Norris Memorial Gardens. Pastors Stan Elliott and Terry Baker of First Baptist Clinton will be officiating.Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family would also like to acknowledge Morning Pointe Assisted Living for the love and gratitude given to him during his stay.
