Mrs. Allie D. Alsobrook, 60, of Colorado City died Monday in Root
Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
Services were 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Oak Street Baptist Church
with Rev. Wayne Oglesby of the church officiating. Burial followed
in the Colorado City Cemetery under the, direction of Kiker-Seale
Funeral Home.
Born Oct. 18, 1917 in Ellis County, she came to Colorado City in 1928.
She married Eugene Victor Alsobrook on Oct. 10,1936 in Colorado City.
She was amember of the Oak Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Norma Long of Midlothian;
one son, Morris E. (Sonny) Alsobrook of Colorado City; three sisters, Mrs.
Madge Mathers of Maypearl, Texas, Mrs. Susie Walraven of Cleburne and
Mrs. Dorothy Moore of Colorado City; one brother, J.B. Buckner; eight
grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
