Ralph F. Larimer, 55, of Effingham died at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Effingham with visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery.
He was born August 30, 1925 in Effingham County, the son of Grover C. and Lucy (Shadwell) Larimer. He was married to Betty VanSant.
He was a World War II veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; a son, David of Effingham; daughters Mrs. David A. (Crystal) Smith, Peggy Dillow, both of Effingham, Melody Larimer of Clay City and Mrs. Daniel (Joyce) Mesnard of Mason; brothers William and Lloyd of Effingham; a sister Ellnora VanSant of Sigel, and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Noble.
