Obituary, The Oklahoman, October 20, 1999 Christopher Eric Burkhalter, 19, joined his Father in Heaven Sunday. Chris was born August 29, 1980, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Debra Kaye Cain and Edward Ray Burkhalter. Chris was a member of the New Covenant Christian Church. He was an automotive apprentice mechanic for the Priebe's Auto Clinic. Chris is survived by his parents, Edward Ray Burkhalter, Debra and Bill Prater, half brothers and sister and many other family. Services will be held in the North Colonial Chapel of the Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary, 13125 North MacArthur Oklahoma City, Wednesday October 20, 1999 at 2:00 P.M. with the Reverend Tim Pool officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Burial Park, Oklahoma City. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Chris to New Covenant Christian Church, Scholarship Fund.
