Found in Tearing Down a Building at Franklin and Plum Streets"
In tearing down the old 2-story brick house formerly occupied by the late John S. Nagle, Plum and Franklin, purchased by Hollis Bros. to make room for their confectionery building, there was found in the cellar a marble tombstone about 6 feet high inscribed: "Sacred to the Memory of Catharine Spayd, consort of John Spayd, who departed this life November 27, 1833, aged 61 years, 5 months and 5 days."
