Lived 23 years in Rockford, coming from Orland Park. Married Elaine Laycock in Morrison, June 19, 1957. Owner of Witt's Appliance Service. Army veteran of Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine; four daughters, Mrs. Thomas A. (Yolonda) Klopfer, Carol Reese, Mrs. W. Mitchell (Barbara L.) Forster, and Nancy Ann Witt; six grandchildren; a sister, Louise Forest; a brother, Alwyn. Predeceased by parents, a brother, Leonard in 1976, and a son, Wayne Allen in 1966.
