Fond du Lac Reporter, Sun. Oct. 22, 1989, p. D8, c. 3. Leola C. Mannenbach, 66, of 71 South Sallie Ave., died Thursday, Oct. 19, at her home. She was born Aug. 21, 1923 in the Town of Empire, a daughter of John and Mathilda Foertsch Retterath. On April 10, 1948, she married Francis Mannenbach at St. Mary's Church in Fond du Lac. Mrs. Mannenbach was a 1942 graduate of Fond du Lac High school. She engaged with her husband in the operation of the Clover Farm Grocery Store in Mt. Calvary for 10 years. Mrs. Mannenbach was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Fond du Lac. Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Judy Mannenbach and her husband Robert Hendricks of New York City; two sons, Peter F. and his wife Lisa of Green Bay; Mark S. and his wife Elizabeth of Wauwatosa; two grandchildren, Emily and Kate Mannenbach of Wauwatosa; one brother, John N. Retterath and his wife Elizabeth of Eden Prairie, Minn.; one sister Irma Rodenkirch and her husband Bruce of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Her parents preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from Zacherl Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, with the Rev. Julio Miralbes officiating. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery. Friends may call today from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Zacherl Funeral Home. A parish vigil service will be held at 8 p.m.
