Nancy Brown, age 88, of Newell, Iowa died February 3, 2011 in Sioux City, Iowa.
Nancy W. Webb, the daughter of Floyd L. Webb and Mary E. (Jones) Webb, was born November 29, 1922 in Isle of Wight, Virginia. Growing up, she attended school in Virginia, and, upon graduation, Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.
On December 30, 1944, Nancy was united in marriage to Milton O. Brown in Richmond, Virginia. Together, they were blessed with seven children: William, Norman, Donald, Martha, Mary, James, and Timothy.
Nancy was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Newell, Iowa. She sang in the choir, taught Sunday school and led Bible Study for many years. Her deep love of the Lord compelled her to spend a part of each morning and evening reading God's Word and praying for those she loved. Nancy enjoyed crocheting, reading, and gardening. She loved cooking, canning, journaling, and writing letters. Nancy treasured her family; one of her greatest joys was spending time with them.
