HEART TROUBLE CAUSES DEATH

Mrs. Emma E. Dreitzler, prominent in Findlay club activities and mother of Miss Bernita Dreitzler, head of the English department at Findlay College, died at 3:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at her residence, 303 Hancock street.

Mrs. Dreitzler had been in failing health for some time. She had been bedfast for the past six months. Heart trouble caused her death.

She was the first president of the Symposium club and was a charter member of the Colliquist club. She was a former teacher in the Findlay high school and at one time was assistant librarian of the public library here. Mrs. Dreitzler also was office society editor of the Jeffersonian.

She was graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1882 and took post graduate work at Oberlin College. Last June she attended the 50th anniversary of her class at Ohio Wesleyan at Delaware.

Mrs. Dreitzler had been active in church work. She was a former teacher of the Sisterhood of the First Presbyterian church of which she was a member.

The daughter of Josiah and Sarah Houser Moorhead, she was born in Hancock county and resided here all of her life. She was married to William Dreitzler who passed away in 1891.

Beside Miss Bernita Dreitzler, who resided with her mother, one more daughter survives. She is Mrs. Herbert Coontz, of Boston, Massachusetts.
